As there are over a dozen types of academic writing, the students often mingle one piece's concept with another essay. It happens due to a lack of understanding of the concept of each essay. As there are thin lines that differentiate each essay's idea from other essay types, that is why the students mingle the idea of several writing pieces with one another.   3. In a narrative writing piece, the whole essay should be explained in a regular time-frame. In contrast, highlighting each element of a descriptive essay is not required in proper order or time-frame. In other words, a scribbler gets the liberty of explaining the entire essay in random order.
  4. The narrative essay demands the author to illustrate a real-life incident that occurred in its life and how it faced that specific incident. On the other hand, the descriptive essay consists of the author's and the central subject's emotional relationship. 
  5. The narrative essay requires the readers to take action regarding the explained situation. Readers can give opinions, suggestions, or recommendations. On the other hand, the descriptive essay does not urge the readers to suggest anything or trigger an open discussion.
